Akavar 20/50 is marketed as a revolutionary European weight loss miracle, serving as the ultimate ‘Fat Foe' for anyone interested in losing weight and still eating what they want. The outrageous claims have caught the attention of many dieters who are looking for a quick-fix solution, but the ‘studies' reported on the company website, but the fat burner has not been approved by the FDA and the company has not published a clinical trial.

What Does Akavar 20/50 Contain?

The manufacturer of Akavar 20/50 does not provide a list of ingredients, but instead insists that it is a proprietary blend that is guaranteed to encourage weight loss. These claims are further compounded with marketing messages, and it is difficult to determine what exactly is in these pills.

The side effects of Akavar 20/50 may provide some insight on what this fat burner and appetite suppressant contains. Akavar 20/50's primary side effects include:

• Increased blood pressure

• Elevated heart rate

• Reduced appetite that may affect blood sugar levels

• Increased energy

Caffeine and other stimulants such as synephrine may be some of the leading ingredients in Akavar 20/50, but this has yet to be determined. There is no indication that Akavar 20/50 contains Hoodia, another powerful appetite suppressant used in many drugs and weight loss products today. Anyone interested in taking Akavar 20/50 should proceed with caution; without knowing what is in these pills, there is a much higher risk of harmful side effects.

Who is Akavar 20/50 Designed For?

Akavar 20/50 is designed for anyone interested in losing 10-15 pounds, and results vary by individual. Eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise are important elements of weight loss, regardless of the type of supplement used, and results with Akavar 20/50 may be more likely with a healthy eating plan. Akavar 20/50 primarily works as an appetite suppressant and can help reduce caloric intake. Akavar 20/50 encourages dieters to try Akavar simply because they can eat whatever they want, but still lose weight.

The Akavar 20/50 Guarantee

The Akavar 20/50 guarantee is offered by Dynakor Pharmacal, a retail firm that offers a customer service center for order processing and returns. The ‘no-nonsense' guarantee promises substantial weight loss within 30 days for a prompt refund. However, some customers have reported how difficult it is to get their money back after working with the customer service department, and Dynakor Pharmacal may soon be reported as untrustworthy by many prospective customers. A single bottle of Akavar costs $39.99, and the company also offers a special of three bottles for $79.98 (three for the price of two).

The Bottom Line

There is no proof that a published clinical trial, as suggested on the Akavar 20/50 and Dynakor Pharmacol website, actually exists. The ‘years of scientific' study statement in Akavar 20/50's clinical trial results reflect the response of just 24 participants. This is an incredibly small amount of people to conduct testing, and certainly not enough to determine if the product is safe, effective, or has harmful side effects. The press release available on the website is full of marketing hype and very little scientific proof.

I've been taking them for two days, and I've actually felt a little suicidalI don't know if it's from the pills or what, I'm thinking it definitely is.

HI. I noticed over this past week, that I have been feeling really uptight lately, stressing out over little things I normally never think about. I never stress about anything so I couldn't figure out what was bothering me. It was driving me crazy! So I checked out online what OCD is, and found I identify with it.

Just today I put two and two together and realized it is because of these pills: I am up to the maximum recommended dosage, four per day. The good thing is that I am losing weight at a rapid pace now, but the bad part is that I am staying up far too late at night, and again, stressing over every little thing.

I believe I am qualified to answer, because I drink no caffeine of any sort, never have. Last year before my wedding I took Trimspa for five months and lost 20 pounds, but was exhibiting the exact same behavior in myself. (It Could have been wedding stress but who knows really? When I was at the Trimspa max, my hands were shaking. )

The upshot is that I have lost more weight than I would have otherwise, but I think that my mind is playing games with me, again because of the pills, so I plan to throw them away tomorrow morning. I hope this helps~

Hey Sabah, excellent review with a thumbs on your constructive journalism. The truth is taking Akavar 20/50 hunger suppressants means a greater risk of serious side affects... think about the dangers before you swallow that pill!

I found the list of all the ingredients here http://www.akavarstore.com/akavar2050-weight-loss- They claim nearly 100% success rate. It seems that there is a lot of controversy about this diet pill.

First I'd like to say if I'd read all the reporting on this product before starting it I may not have tired it.

Let me set the stage for you first. I had lost my job of 20 years at the power plant. I was depressed and became more depressed after gaining 15 pounds (couch potato blues) for just not doing anything. I was already a little overweight and when I heard about this product (Akavar) saying I could eat and loss, I had to try it. To make this short, I lost 25 pounds, never experenced any unpleasent side effects at all. I did watch what I ate, got off the couch and started living again but I still credit a large part of my success to Akavar 20/50. I'm 55 years old, 5'7" and weigh 143. This product may not work for everyone but it has for me and my beautiful wife how has also lost 10 lbs.

I took ONE PILL and woke up that night with what I tought was a heart attack. Extreme stomach and chest pain. Spent a week in the hospital and discharged with diagnosis of SEVERE GASTRITIS. The physician said the inside of my stomach was raw and almost ready to bleed. I can't imagine if I had taken two pills like the bottle instructs that you can.... I would not recommend this to anyone. It is not worth the risk. It was a horrible experience for me!!!

I started to take this 4 days ago. So fare I can see changes visualy. Only about five pounds, but still have plenty of time to lose more. Some one reading this, remember. Everybody has a diffrent chemicale patern. I havnt had one bad effect from this. Infact I feel better. Start with just one pill your first day. That's how it sould be with anything. Becarful. Just walking or dancing for exercise can helpout. I put on my headphones and can walk easy for a hour or more sometimes. Eat less fats and sugares more fruit and vegies. Cut sodas get more water. And anyone can have more effective results. Good luck. I know it's a "Thin wolrd", but just dont over do it. :)

I've been taking this for 5 days and lost 5 pounds. I haven't changed my diet. I have been more active because it gives me so much energy. I find that it also makes me feel happier. I really love that I am losing weight this fast, but I am planning to get off of it. It is making my blood pressure really high and my heart beat really fast. This can't be good for me at all. I am glad for the people who are able to take this pill and lose weight without any bad side effects.

Jerry 38 yrs old 3 years ago

NO NO NO! I am not a skinny guy but i am not a really heavy guy. I gained twenty pounds over the winter and needed a jump start. AFter having this commercial pounded in to my brain i bought a couple bottles.

Day One. 1 pill at lunch. Not so bad a few jitters but drinking coffee all morning didnt help.

I stopped the coffee. Dinner time. I used two capsuls. I did eat less and found myself not as hungry. 4 hours later i went to bed. My head was feeling a little dizzy and i was wired, STILL! I laid in bed until 2 am before i fell asleep. The whole time my heart was pounding outta my chest. Thats a little scary. I drink coffee - 5 -6 cups a day and this pill beat the hell out of any caffeine you get in a cup!

But did i learn my lesson? NOT YET!

I took another at lunch the next day. ( NO COFFEE AT ALL THIS DAY)

As i waited in line at the store to pay for my food, I burped! Not a normal burp. It was a side effect burp that burned. I saw a quick flash because it burned and made me twich. Then i saw a puff of powder come from my lips. Itw as from the pill, coming back up!

So i said to myself, Man, this is not good. Is it a freak thing or is it really these pills? So at dinner i took two more. less than thirty minutes later i started feeling light headed but not dizzy. My hands felt a little tightness, almost on the verge of shakyness but not tingling. I felt really anxious and unsettled, Like i needed to get out and go do something. Run , jog, walk, scream,Anything.

I also felt a little chilly ( hard to describe). Heartburn followed that evening. Really bad heartburn. But since i really didnt eat anything i could not blame it on food.

my conclusion is..

THESE PILLS ARE THE F'N DEVIL! I was a freaking idiot to buy them and i was an idiot to keep taking them on the second day. I will take them back to Walmart and demand my money back! I bought them there because i thought they held standards for the products they sell. Now that i do more research, i see i am not alone on the issue with these pills.

AKAVAR you deserve a lawsuit!

Jenn 3 years ago

OMG - The SAME thing happened to me that happened to Jerry (posting above)! I was being extra careful taking these because I was told they were "extremely strong" ... what I wasn't told was that they would make me literally insane. And the burping powder thing is NOT just a freak occurence. It hurts and it's scary! And it's NOT from lack of water intake or food intake. I was eating healthy foods and drinking 6-8 glasses of water and it still happened. I HATED THESE PILLS!! For lack of a better term, they were SCARY. Even worse yet?? I returned the darn things to Dynakor Pharmacals for a refund and I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY MONEY BACK YET (and it's been over a month).

BUYER BEWARE - UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DYING, DON'T TAKE THESE "DEVIL PILLS"!!!

impressed 3 years ago

I bought these yesterday and couldn't believe how very, very well they curb appetite. And the boost in energy is amazing (which as a mom of 5 is appreciated). I also never drink caffeine so taking 4 on the first day was a bit of a shock to my sytem and left me with insomnia, which stinks. But I've done my research and know what is in them and the possible side affects and am willing to live with them for a few weeks. I do only have 15 pounds to lose and the best way to do that is to make better food choices and exercise on a regular basis. This product (so far:)) helps me make better food choices because you have absolutely no appetite so I consiously (sp?) have to choose what to eat. I still eat every few hours with a carb and a protein which helps keep the metabolism up. As a testimony, I have had a bag of Reese's miniatures in my house for 24 hours and I am not even tempted in the slightest:) That is a HUGE deal for me:) So, so far, side affects aside, I am impressed with this product.

I've been taking Akavar since 03/10/08.. By 03/19/08, I lost 2 inches in my waist and 1/2 inh on each leg and arm.... I never do the scale thing , I am 5"6' and about 160lbs all spreadout evenly, So I actually look like a size six when I am really a size 8-9. Losing Inches are important to me when dieting, not lbs. The first day i took 2 pills and it curved my appetite tremendously, but I could not sleep that night... I was back to sleeping in a day or two , but I developed these stomach cramping. I did change my diet, with sometimes 2 days out of the week eating fast food, junkfood etc., and i also workout about 4 hours a week. These pills do work. But the stomach cramping scares me after reading the above person saying she had a "raw stomach" after one day..

Shawna 3 years ago

So far I haven't noticed any weightloss from using this for almost a month, but I will say this. I become very nauseated and I'm sure it is because of the caffeine in each pill. The side effects are under the NOTE portion on the bottle claiming irritability and things of that nature. I don't know if I'll buy this again. I'm not as hungry as I normally am since I'm half sick all the time. So I guess that seems to help. I am quite a bit more thirsty though. If anybody notices I lost anything, I suppose I'll continue it. :)

Cassie 3 years ago

I've been taking the pills for over a week now, and they do not work for me. Instead of curbing my appetite, they acutally make me more hungry. I'm sure that it's because it's burning the food I eat, but it's just making me want to eat more. Also, I cannot sleep at night... because of the caffeine. For some strange reason, the whole time that I have been taking them my breasts have been hurting.... I don't know, it's weird but scary.

Heidi 3 years ago

I am at the end of day two of taking these pills. I want to say that they are working for me, but only time will tell. I started off with two for breakfast yesterday morning, but only one for lunch,...let me tell you this: my mind was racing. I felt like I was going crazy. Thankfully, today was much better. I took 2 in the morning, and 2 at lunch time. You really have to drink lots of water with these pills. I am constantly thirsty since I started taking them, and maybe that's what's saving me from burping powder, but DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!

I will post back when I finish the bottle and let you know how it worked out. Right now I am 5'6'' at 144lbs. I hope to get that number down to 138 by the end of the bottle.

I took akavar 20/50 in Feb. of 08.I only took 1 pill a day for the first 4 days ,gained 5 pounds! Then I took 2 pills for 2 days, then within a 10 day period I GAINED 27 pounds.Thats right along with the dizziness lightheadedness, and sky high blood pressure.Well 6 month's later 3 emergency room visits multiple renal doctor visits ,missed income and tons of medical expences I'm still screwed up.Those pills messed my kidneys up royally.I was previously a very healthy 37 yr. old man, just wanted to drop 10.Toxic shock to the kidneys is not fun. They spilled my good proteins in turn weight gain by water into tissue because no proteins in blood to reg. water.I'm still fighting this battlle but thank the Lord my kidneys are slowly healing,Dr. says it could take up to ayear.I absolutely know it was the akavar pills. My blood pressure is still wacked out and I am taking meds.for that and also I'm still on fluid pills. It's a shame for someone that very seldom even had to take an aspirin.Anyone else with same issues I liked to hear about it as for anyone thinking about akavar it's not worth the health risks.I wish I never would have put them in my mouth, I'd have my good health and the thousands of dollars lost in this ordeal.

Kristine 3 years ago

Started taking Akavar 20/50 in April of 08. I didnt take it everyday, and when I did i only took 2 a day. About 4 weeks ago I developed a severe pain in my right side, radiating to my back and to my front, ending under my ribcage. Not thinking that it might be caused by these diet pills I have been taking, I went to the Doctor's to get my gallbladder checked. He ended up checking kidneys and liver, blood work etc. Everything came back normal. So I left Dr. stumped to what was going on with my body. I finally started doing a process of elimination and when i finally quit taking Akavar and it left my system, I am now pain free.

I did lose weight, about 5 lbs. BUT...I dont think it was from taking Akavar. I truly believe the weight loss is from cutting high in fat, fried foods, sodas and fast food out of my diet. I was forced to do this, thinking my gallbladder was giving me trouble.

been on akavar for about three days. I happen to like them so far. The energy it gives you is really great that might be the case some people have insomnia. The energy is given to you to help you get up and move and exercise. I have from past experiance found that walking around can help kill insomnia there for helping you lose weight and sleep. But everyone is different. I'll keep taking them till its gone and tell you all how it does. 350+lbs but heavy bone set for a fact through dotor study and tests. Skeletal alone weighs 127lbs. minimum weight for me that I can reach safely is 195lbs. I'm 6'4. Stay tuned for i will be reporting my reports here once a week. previous weight 430lbs. 1 yeasr ago. Now weigh 365lbs. did that naturally with gym and eating. this time using a little help. Cheer For Me Guys

Nancy, do NOT take them! I had 2 at lunch, 2 at dinner and got the worst headache and desire to run 1,000 miles. I went for a walk, and I was also dizzy and nauseated.

I called the company and asked HOW much caffiene is in a pill and they said it is equal to a cup of coffee. Uh, if the coffee cup is GALLON size! I ONLY took one at around 3 p.m. today and I almost passed out driving my van home. My brain felt like someone was pushing on it. No headache to day, but I feel really dizzy, like I am having a heart attack. They suck!

I have gained 10 pounds in the last year, and ambitiously wanted to loose it fast! So i decided to try Akavar 20/50.......This is the worst product ever! Just 1 pill/day makes you crazy!!! (I can't immagine what 2 pills do with your brain) I did not loose a single pound, that's why i just stopped taking it.... And that's when it's getting worse.....headaches, nervousness, continuous desire to eat, heart pain, ...and so many other negative side effects .................. This is a bad drug, that hurts and destroys health!

i have been taking akavar for about a week today, and so far it has worked for me. i started at 117ibs, and now i weigh 113ibs. other diet pills were not so convincing, because they would only help me lose about 3 pounds a month or two. i believe all of you when you say the pills are making you go insane. trust me, i'm with you. the first night, i couldn't go to sleep and the second i was extremely paranoid. i'm usually a very quiet, thoughtful person, but the pills had me so nervous, i couldn't stop fidgeting or talking. i also had sort of a flushed face, but it was only because i was so nervous for no reason. i will continue the pills, because i still have to lose about 10 to 15 pounds. i'm thirsty all the time, and i'm also pretty impressed with the plan. i'm also a morose person at times and i've noticed, not so much while i'm on these pills. i like them, i'm sorry some of you had to go through this, but it's worth the loss of weight.

SCARRY! I started taking these yesterday - took 2 before lunch and got so wired that I didn't take any more for the rest of the day. Took 2 this morning before breakfast and 2 before lunch. I have gotten diahrea, light headedness, dizzy, tingling and numbness in left arm that I feel like I may be having a heart attack. Have been eating and drinking trying to counteract the effects - nothing is working. I truly believe these are dangerous and I'm quitting. A few pound lost is not worth it!

I have been taking these for since 2007 off and on... I have noticed heart problems, pain in the right side of my abdomen and extreme nervousness... these pills are simply not worth it... any diet pill is not worth it especially after the Hydroxycut issue... taken off the market because it causes liver failure... just think most of these pills have to be made up of somewhat of the same chemical composition... just eat right and work out... try other diets don't use these pills...

brigette 2 years ago

hi everyone. i just started taking akavar and i'm so nervous for no reason as i speak. it was this morning that i took 2 capsules, ate my cereal with soy milk , and 20 minutes later i'm having trouble standing still. i trust these pills because i've taken them before and lost 5 pounds in one week. but that was about 7 months ago. i just started today and i already feel less hungry and very very nervous. i'm 17 years old, i don't ever drink coffee and try to cut back on anything with caffeine, so i understand why these pills would get to me. i'm very paranoid right now and have been experiencing some muscle cramps, but nothing majorly painful. i plan to lose 6 more pounds and as soon as i'm done, i won't touch caffeine, it really makes me paranoid and restless. akavar really does make you loose weight fast, faster than i ever imagined. but the crazy side effects make people not risk taking them. good luck to you all.

Now i wish I had checked this site out before I bought them.I'll check back in a few days and update as to how I am feeling. I hate how society had us putting ourselves in danger to lose a few lbs. I have between 30-40 lbs to take off. Wish me luck( and good health!)

Hi, I am 5'1" and 154 pounds. I started taking these 4 days ago starting off with only 1 pill a day for 3 days, then today started with 2 pills before breakfast. No jitters, no mind racing, no smoke coming out of my mouth, no crazy burps...Definitely curbs my appetite though...

Amanda 2 years ago

I have the "car sickness", type feeling. The first night I took 2, that was around 6pm. I was up all night, but finally went to sleep around 4:30am. I woke up naturally, around 8:30am and started my day with all that energy. Toda is day 3, and I take just 2 in the morning and it lasts all day. I don't recommend this, but I will proably take 2 tomorrow. Well, I may do just 1.

Emily 2 years ago

I've read all these comments about how bad these pills are. I've been taking them since November of 2008. I started at 150. I'm now down to 124. If I take the full dosage one day and don't take it the next I'm fatigued with no energy. Any diet pill will do that. It's given me energy and I still by it. If you look at the ingredient list the top thing listed is vitamin B6. Now I only take 2 a day and a take 2 B6 vitamins a day. So if you're scared just switch to a plain B6 vitamin. It's supposed to increase metabolism and give energy.

I've taken them for spot weight loss several times. They do work if you want to lose weight and they have a magnified effect if you eat responsibly and exercise. Yes, they do keep you from sleeping if you take them before supper. I start by taking one at breakfast and one at lunch. After a couple weeks I increase it to two. at those meals. Yes, more enegry and sometimes a little jittery, but you are putting chemicals into your body for a result, and these pills do give results...which can't be said for many other suppliments out there. You just have to weigh the good with the bad, is it worth it for an increased rate of weight loss??

Lee 23 months ago

Well, after reading this I am thinking twice if I should even open the bottle. I have taking diet pills in the past... like stacker two and they just don't work for me anymore. it 8 am and I am going to take my first one. Hey peeps;

piece of advice taking these akavar pills!

-If this is your first time, start with one pill 15-20mins before breakfest and drink a cup and half of water-this way it dissolves the pill in your stomach. You don't want the powder coming back up if your stomach is dry! Whats the point of it working?

-After eating breakfest take 10-15min walk or excersize bcause if you don't, you will have extra energy that your body wants to BURN!.. So work with your energy.

-Expect your heart rate to increase, yes these pills have caffeine stimulants; remember most diet pills do!

-Take a walk at lunch if you can

-avoid bad fatty foods

-drink at least 6 cups of water A DAY! If you want better and healthier body, drink water!

-In the early evening at least 6-8hrs before you sleep, take one pill before main (supper) meal.

-Take 15-20min walk afterward because if you don't you will be up half the night! Remember these pills have caffiene in them!

-Repeat these steps for the next couple weeks, till your ready to up your dosage to two pills. Don't forget to take a walk at least twice a day and drink plenty of water!

Side effects if you quit, can cause you to shake for awhile, can cause you headaches... No one said taking diet pills is GOOD for you. We are human and we were not born on caffeine stimulants..

Plus BIG TIP; Try to keep your Calorie intake 2500 per day! Stay away from BAD greasy foods, and bad Carbs and MSG!

Take care & Good LUCK!

I suspect that the company that makes Akavar 20/50 is responsible for the positive comments in this thread.

The makers of Akavar 20/50 are engaged in a class-action lawsuit filed against them for false advertising. The suit was filed in November 9, 2007. You can learn more about the lawsuit at: http://www.sfmslaw.com/class-action-lawsuits/cases

The magazine Skeptical Inquirer had an excellent recount of an exchange between a doctor and the company that makes Akavar. The doctor simply wanted to read the 2 articles that Akavar advertises as proof that their product works. You may read the article here: http://www.csicop.org/si/show/we_couldnt_say_it_in

Some interesting points from the article:

"I really hit the jackpot when I noticed an ad for a weight-loss product called Akavar 20/50. It made the usual claims: eat all you want and still lose weight. But it had the best advertising slogan ever: “We couldn’t say it in print if it wasn’t true!”'

"The ad describes research results on Akavar as “staggering.” It claims to have published scientific research showing that twenty-three out of twenty-four patients .... "

"I searched PubMed for anything in either of those journals that might even remotely be considered studies of Akavar and couldn’t find anything. I wrote the company’s customer service representative and asked for more information. That led to the following surreal e-mail exchange over the next month and a half."

The email exchange gets wild; it would be hilarious if it weren't dealing with a supplement consumed by people wanting a pill!

What the doctor wanted:

"Let’s make this really simple:

1. Are there two published studies?

2. If so, please provide me with the information I will need to locate and read those studies: Name of author(s), title of article, name of journal, volume, page number and date of publication."

The legal departments reply after 6 weeks:

"We have received your request to provide you with all studies relating to our Akavar 20/50 product. [This was accompanied by a complicated, multi-page legal document.]"

The doctor's final email which was never replied to:

"ou did not provide the titles of the studies, but I easily found them. I can see why you didn’t provide the titles, and I can see why I didn’t find them when I looked before, because it is obvious that they were not studies of Akavar 20/50.The Lieberman study is titled “Effects of caffeine, sleep loss, and stress on cognitive performance and mood during U.S. Navy SEAL training. Sea-Air-Land.” The Andersen study is “Weight loss and delayed gastric emptying following a South American herbal preparation in overweight patients.” The herbal preparation was a mixture of yerba mate, guarana, and damiana. The patients initially lost a few pounds, but those who took the active drug for 12 months “maintained” their weight during that period. The abstract of the study does not say that the study participants were instructed not to alter their eating habits. And the numbers of patients do not correspond to either of the studies described in your ads.

Your ad says, “this is scientific fact, documented by published medical findings.” Are you now admitting that there are no published clinical studies of Akavar 20/50 and that the statements in your ads are false?"

Akavar is still claiming to have performed clinical trials on it's product. From their website:

"While the published clinical trial using the active Akävar-20/50 compound resulted in significant weight loss WITHOUT diet and exercise, adding a sensible diet and exercise program to your weight-loss regimen should only enhance Akävar-20/50’s incredible weight-loss power."

This is not in the small print:

"Clinical trial shows success: That’s right. While no diet pill can possibly work for everyone (that’s why there’s a money-back guarantee), the peer-reviewed clinical trial revealed that virtually everyone in the study who used Akävar-20/50’s active compound (23 out of 24 participants, to be exact) lost a significant amount of weight."

I haven't taken Akavar 20/50 nor will I take something that is so deceptively marketed and unresearched. I am not part of the lawsuit, nor do I know anyone at Skeptical Inquirer or anyone associated with the lawsuit. I am just a scientist who came across the Skeptical Inquirer and thought it wise to share this info. I am also not someone that is anti-medication or supplements. I use both daily. If you are using Akavar 20/50, you might want to research what you are ingesting.

Truly, if it is too good to be true, the it is. Say no to false advertising and pseudoscience.

Wow...people get a clue. Nothing on God's green earth is going to make you lose weight and not have ANY side effects. Sorry to say. Not to mention those of you with chest pains, well chalk it up to too much caffeine or heartburn. GERD causes 9 out of 10 complaints of chest pain when taking herbal stimulants, & herbs of any nature in particular. Diet pills are not intended to be "good" for you...they are a means to an end when we're looking to lose those extra lbs. Someone above mentioned that we don't all have the same body chemistry...RIGHT ON! We don't. Now I will say that some people think they're perfectly healthy and take something like this diet pill and have all these adverse side effects, maybe you should make sure you don't have an underlying health issue. That being said I've taken every diet pill under the sun, even the grand prescription kind and if you don't watch how you take them and what you eat along with them then there's no point in taking them at all.
